Korean Contributor Platform: Introduction to Miricanvas
Hello! Today, I’d like to introduce Miricanvas, a Korean contributor platform.
This platform is available in over 180 countries worldwide and, in my opinion, has strong growth potential. As such, it’s a great platform for contributors who want to try monetization.

📈 My Uploads & Earnings
As of August 2025, I’ve uploaded 1,357 elements and am earning an average of 500 KRW per day.
Based on my research, uploading over 10,000 elements could potentially generate ₩100,000 per day in earnings.
Since I’m currently doing this as a side project, I can’t upload very quickly, but I am challenging myself to reach 10,000 uploads and will share the results later.
🛠️ How Miricanvas Works
Miricanvas has a structure very similar to Canva.
You upload elements, and when those elements are used or printed, you earn revenue. With consistent uploads, you can also unlock template creation and the content shop features.
1. Elements
Based on my personal experience, the review period for uploaded content is usually within 1 week, though in some cases it may take up to 1 month. In my case, most approvals were completed within a week.
At the start, you can only submit 20 elements for review, but as your portfolio grows, this increases to 100 at a time. Some well-known creators reportedly have unlimited submissions, though this applies only to a very small number of users.
You can also upload AI-generated images, but I’ve learned from experience that you must clearly label them as AI images. Otherwise, they risk being deleted later.
- Supported uploads: Photos, background-removed photos, PNG, SVG, GIF, backgrounds, short videos (MP4 under 30s)
- Review time: Minimum 1 week, maximum 1 month (in my case, most approvals came within 1 week)
- Submission limit: 20 at first, up to 100 later (unlimited for a few top creators)
- AI images are allowed, but must be labeled as such
2. Templates
Templates are a section I personally tried multiple times but eventually gave up on—mainly because the review standards are very strict.
Here’s how it works: templates are created within the main Miricanvas platform by combining elements. Once completed, the template is uploaded to the contributor site via a link.
When uploading, you must carefully input the template type, name, and keywords, as even small mistakes can lead to rejection.
I personally attempted this several times but found the process too strict, so I stopped.
Note also that review times can take over a month, so it’s important to fully understand the guidelines before submitting.
- Creation: Build using elements on the main Miricanvas site
- Upload: Submit via contributor site (include name, tags, type, etc.)
- Caution: Reviews are very strict and may take 1+ months
3. Content Shop
The Content Shop is a newer feature, and in my view, it’s very similar to Redbubble.
From what I’ve seen, you can turn your elements into products like stickers, t-shirts, or badges. A percentage of the sales revenue then goes back to you as the contributor.
So far, I haven’t seen many real examples of earnings through this feature, but since the platform is still developing, I believe it has strong potential.
I plan to try this myself in the future and will share results if monetization becomes more structured.

📌 Note: June earnings were higher due to printing revenue, which significantly boosts totals.
Although displayed in KRW, I also earn in USD and JPY depending on usage.
💰 Payment System
- Minimum payout threshold: ₩100,000
- Once the threshold is met, payouts are automatic via registered bank account
- Payment methods differ for Korean vs. international contributors, so check the details
I haven’t reached the threshold yet, but I expect to receive my first payout within the year.

- Reach 10,000 total uploads
